The newly-hatched Battlemons can now be admired in their full glory in the open beta

Battlemons for everyone - play now the Open Beta!

The cute, colorful and seemingly peaceful little monsters look up with their big, sleepy eyes at the research team stranded on their jungle planet. The astronauts soon discover that the creatures – affectionately dubbed Battlemons – can be tamed and trained into powerful fighters. Behind their cute exterior, the little creatures turn out to be relentless in battle. But despite their awesome abilities, they only fight one another in sporting competitions to discover who is the strongest Battlemon on the planet and for the pride and glory of their trainers.

In Battlemons, the latest free browser game from Travian Games, the player takes on the role of a Battlemon trainer. You must hatch eggs, feed the hatchlings and care for them until you can train them – you are developing a future champion! During exciting missions, virtual trainers will encounter up to seven unique Battlemon life forms. Each of these has its own unique abilities and characteristics. You must form and use these to gain the upper hand in tactical battles against other Battlemons. To ensure that the game provides lasting motivation and incentives, the development team around producer Vera Frisch has been working hard on some new features.

Vera Frisch says “After a while just breeding Battlemons would get a little monotonous. That’s why you can pick your favorite monster from seven categories to breed further generations, improving colors and talents at higher levels to raise the perfect Battlemon. The trainers can also swap monsters with other trainers. This creates a huge level of variety over time! With the perfect Battlemon at your side, you don’t only take part in exciting battles against other trainers, you can also go on adventures in the nearby unexplored jungle, which is filled with unseen dangers as well as all kinds of treasures."

Travian Games is looking for active trainers for challenging battles to visit them at play.battlemons.com and take part in the open beta. Register early to be one of the first in the village on the jungle planet. This is where the training and exploring starts – on an alien world that will soon be home to many an ambitious Battlemon owners.

Imperion launches Open Beta—Now Anyone can take Command on the Bridge

It is time to conquer the galaxy - with the Open Beta of Imperion!

Imperion opened the gates to the international server hosting its closed beta in October. Since then, it’s enchanted players around the world, as well as its producers at Travian Games. Selected strategists and empire-builders were permitted to explore and conquer the infinite reaches of the strategy browser game—and to take territories by force from other players in exciting battles. You might have thought the galactic scale of Imperion’s sci-fi spectacle was big enough, but the rush to claim the limited access codes on http://play.imperion.com and on the official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/imperionnews) exceeded all expectations and demonstrated the unflagging interest in such high quality games.

The developer team took the enormous demand and the community’s positive feedback to heart and devoted themselves to integrating additional features and priming the backend for the expected rush. All the hard work paid off, because as of today, Travian Games is proud to offer every interested player unlimited access to the open beta of its newest strategy hit. Product manager Stefan Walter is proud of his Imperion crew: “Work on Imperion has gone extremely well. It’s the result of the hard work and the impressive engagement of the entire team, which has devoted itself to creating the most comprehensive browser-based strategy game. I’m happy that we can now offer all the true fans and genre-lovers real, long-lasting sci-fi fun.

Imperium is a multiplayer strategy game. Players choose from three species: Terrans, Titans and the Xen, each with its own unique advantages. Imperion offers players high complexity without overwhelming them; thanks to a finely-tuned balance, gameplay is long-lasting and fun. The diversity of strategies and the development of various galaxies give virtual space generals extreme levels of gameplay freedom. From resource management to refined development strategies to diplomatic tactics, Imperion offers rich, varied and deep gameplay. The strongly communicative aspect comes to the fore in the alliance system. Only through wise use of alliances can a galactic strategist secure his empire and expand its borders without the danger and destruction of combat and conflict.

Imperion is currently available to players all over the world in English on an international server. In the first quarter of 2013 it will be published in multiple languages.
