Lars Janssen becomes board member of the association "game"

The members of the new association of the German games industry appointed their board members on January 29th, 2018.

game is the new association of the German games industry, formed by a merger between the two predecessor associations, the BIU (Federal Association of Interactive Entertainment Software) and GAME (Federal Association of the German Games Industry). The five-person board comprises the new chair Ralf Wirsing (managing director of Ubisoft Germany) and the deputy chair Linda Kruse (co-founder and managing director of Good Evil). In addition, the CEO of Travian Games, Lars Janssen, became a board member of game, as did Jens Kosche (managing director of Electronic Arts Germany) and Stefan Marcinek (founder and CEO of Assemble Entertainment).

Ralf Wirsing considers the merger between the two associations as a milestone for the German games industry. He believes this opportunity should be used to make Germany an even more successful games country. Lars Janssen, games board member and CEO of Travian Games takes a similar view: "The new game brings together the entire German games industry.
